Winds from high-pressure belts to low-pressure belts are called planetary winds. They are also known as spirits. Planetary winds include spirits that are distributed throughout the lower atmosphere. The wind blows year-round and is confined within latitudinal belts, especially in areas to the northeast and southeast: from high-pressure regions to low-pressure regions. There are two types of planetary spirits, namely, commercial spirits and western spirits. On the other hand, sometimes the wind changes its course with the change of season or season. Such spirits are called temporary spirits. These winds change their direction from time to time as there are changes in the seasons. The following are the types of periodic winds.
Monsoon winds: Temperature differences made by the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Himalayan wall form the basis of a storm in the Indian subcontinent.
Land breeze: These winds blow from sea to sea, not carrying moisture but drying and warming.
Sea breeze: The wind blows from sea to land, carrying a certain amount of moisture.
Mountain and valley breeze: The wind that blows through the valley is the hot air from the valley that rises up the slopes of the mountains. In contrast, the wind that blows the mountains is the wind of the valley which is the cold wind from the mountain that flows into the valley. When winds are strong, it leads to the destruction of life and property in the form of storms and hurricanes, causing forest fires, landslides etc.

Note: Air may not be visible at all; in fact, we look at it all the time, but during a storm, the wind makes its presence really known. The wind can lift roofs from buildings, blow up power lines and trees, and cause road accidents as hurricanes roll around cars and trucks.
