Hint: If we talk about glucose we can say that it is the simplest carbohydrate but if we talk about starch which is also a carbohydrate but it is basically a more complex form of glucose.

Complete step by step solution:
Sugar and starch are basically the two kinds of carbohydrates which are found in both plants and animals. There are three types of carbohydrates;
Monosaccharide contains only one sugar unit, they are the simplest carbohydrates. Disaccharides contain two sugar units which mean that they are formed by combining two units of glucose monomer or we can say that by combining two monosaccharides whereas polysaccharides contain more than two sugar units which mean that they are formed by combining more than two glucose monomers together.
GlucoseStarch
The basic difference between glucose and starch is that glucose is a monosaccharideStarch is a polysaccharide.
Glucose is the simplest form of carbohydrate so it gets easily absorbed by the digestive tract of the organismStarch is a complex form of glucose it takes time to get absorbed.
Glucose is sweet, soluble in water and crystallineStarch is white, tasteless and it is insoluble in water.

Note: Starch is a more complex form of glucose made by joining glucose monomers by α14 linkage or α16 glycosidic bond. In humans both glucose and starch both are stored in glycogen. The human body contains extra glucose molecules as compared to starch molecules.
