Eunuchoidism is defined as the failure of testosterone secretion results in eunuchoidism. It is an abnormal condition in males which is characterized by lack of development of secondary sex organs and attainment of some female characteristics such as high voice or lack of facial and body hair, due to the absence of a normal production of male sex hormones.
While castration is surgical removal of the testis. Castration leads to lack of production of testosterone. Due to this procedure, the male loses the functions of the testes. Castration is also known as orchiectomy or orchidectomy. The term castration is sometimes also used for the removal of the ovaries in the female, which is also known as an oophorectomy, or the removal of internal testes, otherwise known as gonadectomy whereby the female loses the functions of the ovaries. Castrated men experiences less sex drive this is because their bodies have very low levels of the male hormone which is testosterone which in turn lowers the frequency, strength, and duration of erections, and can cause hot flashes, vertigo, loss of body hair, and also breast growth.
