Complete answer:
Difference between communicable and non- communicable disease:

Communicable diseaseNon-communicable disease
Communicable diseases are those which can be spread from one person to another or through water, air, contact etc. Non-communicable diseases are those which cannot be transmitted from person to person.
Infectious pathogens, vectors, etc. transmit these diseases. The reasons for this are sickness, environmental changes, mutation, abnormal internal processes, malnutrition, unhealthy diets and lifestyle etc.
Example: cold, flu, typhoid, AIDS, malaria, etc. Example, cancer, thyroid, diabetes, strokes, etc.
They are generally acute types and develop quickly. They pose a short-term threat to the patient. They are mostly chronic and develop slowly and last for a long period of time. Sometimes the disease may disappear for a short period of time and then reappear again.
When the vector spreads the disease from an affected individual to a healthy person, the pathogen undergoes an incubation period. The symptoms appear once the incubation period is over. Some diseases can be passed onto the next generation.
Precautions include maintaining a hygienic environment and body, staying away from an affected person, washing hands etc.Precautions are, regularly body checkup, maintaining fitness by proper diet and exercise, taking proper sleep and rest.
Cure can be done by traditional methods or therapies.Cure may require surgery or specialized methods. Mostly, they are not curable and can just be prevented.
Epidemics and pandemics can be included in this.Non-communicable diseases are responsible for 70% of deaths worldwide.

Note: The difference between both the diseases doesn’t tell us that which is harmful and which is not, rather, it helps us to know better about them.Non-communicable diseases are also known as chronic diseases
