Question

# What is the difference between resistance and reactance?

Hint: Reactance has the same notion as of resistance in electrical circuits and it also has the same unit that is Ohms ($\Omega$ ). Reactance only occurs during a change of current in inductors and capacitors. That's the reason why, reactance depends on the frequency of the alternating current through an inductor or capacitor. Resistance is the opposition to the flow to current. It opposes the free flow of electrons making the electrons flow slowly thus current decreases.
