New Delhi is also called “ Lutyens Delhi”. The mosques that were present earlier were turned to some other use.
Additional Information – For 5 years, worship was also prohibited in the Jama Masjid. To establish the railways, the walls of Shahjahanabad were also broken and destroyed. The Delhi University was also set up by them. They also began to live away from the Indians.
