Hint - Aurangzeb is considered to be the last of the Great Mughals. He was succeeded by his son Bahadur Shah I.

Complete Step by Step Answer - The Mughal Dynasty was established in 1526 when it's first king Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodhi, the last ruler of the Delhi Sultanate at the second Battle of Panipat. They inherited a vast empire from the Lodhis, which was further expanded by the successors of Babur. The Mughal Dynasty is said to have reached its peak during the reign of Jalaluddin Akbar, Babur's grandson. He was a very wise and able ruler and an excellent strategist. Not only did he expand the empire to new territories, but he also centralised the administration in the vast empire. Due to these reasons, he is referred to in history as Akbar The Great. Aurangzeb was the son Shahjahan, Akbar's grandson, and was the sixth Mughal ruler. Upon accession in 1658, he adopted the renal title Alamgir. Aurangzeb was a very able general and he ruled for 49 years. He was an expansionist, and it was under his reign that the Mughal Emperor was spread to his greatest extent. He is said to have ruled over a population of 158 million, generating an annual income of $450 million, making India the world's largest GDP at that time. Aurangzeb passed away in 1707, to be succeeded by his son Bahadur Shah I.

OPTION B - Aurangzeb did not die in 1764.
OPTION C - Aurangzeb passed away in 1707.
OPTION D - Aurangzeb did not die in 1700.
