This mill was observed by the association of another mill in Dhariwal of Punjab in 1881.
Thereafter, new mills were commenced in Mumbai and Bangalore in 1882 and 1886 respectively.

Subsequently, after freedom, this industry earned abrupt growth, particularly during the planning term. At present, there are more than 600 woolen mills, 1100 stocking departments, and 150 spinning components that generate both fabrics and yarn. Some vast scale enterprises such as cotton and woolen textiles, light engineering goods, locomotives, fertilizers, and sugar, etc have prevailed here. Small scale industries that comprise sports goods, handloom, bicycle, and stocking, etc are established in the province. The advancement of enterprises in the province of Punjab Haryana plain brought a huge gain after the interval of independence. The economic subsidy was furnished by the government. The way for industrialization paved its way right to the large quantity of energy produced by the Bhakra-Nangal program and a good market for customer goods.
