Hint: The raw material, also known as feedstock, unprocessed material or primary commodity, is the basic material used for the production of goods, finished products, energy or intermediate materials which are feedstock for future finished products.

The raw material is used to do the production or is the basic material that is used to produce goods or manufacture any finished product. It also has several other names;ike feedstock, unprocessed material, or primary commodity. Their product is the assets that are required to produce any kind of product. The raw material is that material that may be processed a bit or not processed at all which is used to make goods of kind from it.
There are only three types of raw material that is as follows:-
1) Animal based:- We get the raw material from animals and process it to finish goods or use them raw. For example:- Milk is used raw as well it is used to make paneer, ghee, and many other things.
2) Plant based:- In the same, what we obtain from plants could be used in both they ways as the raw material or as finished goods. For example:- We buy vegetables and we can either use it as raw material or can cook it and use it as finished goods.
3) Mining Based: - These types of materials are widely used for making finished goods like coal, iron, metals, etc.
Also, there are two type of raw materials: -
1) Direct Raw material: - It is the type of raw material from which a product is made. For example, We use wood to make chairs, tables, etc.
2) Indirect Raw Material: - These are the materials that are the supplement to make the raw material to a finished group. For example, Several raw materials get used in making chairs like varnish, glue, etc are used to make tables, chairs, beds, etc.
Note: Some raw material is very scary and we should use it effectively and efficiently. These raw materials help us to make a lot of things which we use in our daily life.Raw materials are also used by non-humans, such as birds using found objects and twigs to make nests.
