Hint: Agriculture is the process of rearing plants or animals including fishes. It is the ultimate source of income in India at least. It requires a lot of practical knowledge to lead successful agriculture. One should know how to develop the best quality progeny from the best.
Complete answer:
The branch of science is delaying the agriculture of animals that are raised for meat, fibre, eggs and other products. It involves day to day care of the animals providing them with the best quality food and nutrition. Dairy farming, cattle farming, bee farming, poultry farming etc. come under the animal husbandry. This helps us in the economic sector of the country.
Out-breeding is crossing between two different breeds with absolutely no common hereditary. This is done to introduce new characters to the breeding line. They have unrelated genetic material.
Out-crossing is the technique of crossing over between two animals of the same breed but not having the same ancestry up to at least 5-6 generations.
Cross-breeding is when a superior breed male is mated with the superior breed female to give the new animal with best qualities. This is done to produce an even better progeny of animals. For example- hirasdale is a new sheep produced after crossing Bikaneri ewes and Merino rams (the best sheep).
Note: Outcrossing is done to increase the viability of the product we are obtaining from them. The outcross is the progeny of outcrossing. The inbreeding depression occurs when the mating occurs in between only one breed. This outcrossing technique will help to overcome this depression.
