How is Democracy different from Monarchy?

Complete answer: Democracy means the government is elected by the people of the country whereas Monarchy means the government is run by the kings and queens. The following are the characteristics of Democracy and monarch.

A. The representatives that are elected by the people make all the laws for the people whereas the monarch of the monarchy government i.e. kings and queens make all the laws for the people.
B. In a democratic government, people are treated equally whereas in a monarchy government people are not treated equally.
C. The elected representatives are held accountable if they do something wrong and can be replaced by re-elections by the people whereas, in the Monarch government, people cannot remove the king and queen from their chairs.
