You all must have seen a tool made up of wood and a thick sheet of iron with a pointy blunt nose. The handle of the sheet is made of wood in a cylindrical form. This tool is known as a trowel. This is very helpful in taking out excess soil from the pots, or even this helps in the digging in the little backyard gardens. Nowadays the trowel term is used for every small tool helpful in the home gardens. Therefore, there are various kinds of tools which have been developed for the home garden from iron sheet and wood itself.

Note: The trowel like instruments have not only found their use in the gardening area but it is widely used in the construction areas also. The one kind which is used in construction areas has a flat rectangular sheet of iron and on the top has a handle and it is used in leveling the cement.
