Complete answer:
Let us discuss the treaty and its terms and condition. There were not too many campaigns. Jahangir strengthened Mughal control over Bengal and conquered Kangra Avadh. In sixteen hundred thirteen he sent an expedition against Rana Amar Singh of Mewar, the son of Rana Pratap, who had refused to accept Mughal suzerainty. Rana Amar Singh was defeated. But Jahangir treated him with courtesy and allowed him to retain his territory and exempted him from personal attendance at his court.Treaty was signed between Rana Amar Singh and Jahangir according to this Treaty Rana had to accept the sovereignty of the Mughal Empire. There was a condition placed in front of Rana before he returned that he would not construct a new thing in the fort. Mughals were in a fear that this could be used against them if any construction would be done. Ruler of Mewar has also played his part that he will not be bound to present himself in the court of Mughal rather he would send a representative who will ensure his presence. Mewar, including Chittor were restored to the Rana, Rana could not repair or re-fortify chittor.

Hence, the correct answer is option (A).

Note:Jahangir inherited one of the largest and the most prosperous kingdoms of the medieval world. Its foundations were so strong that Jahangir did not have to face any major crisis in maintaining or consolidating his empire. His reign of twenty two years was mostly peaceful except the rebellion by his eldest son, Khusrau who Occupied Lahore.
