Hint: Cell organelle present inside a particular type of cell that performs a certain specific function. Various cell organelles are there, out of which, some are common in most types of cells like cell membranes, nucleus, and cytoplasm.
Complete answer:
In a cell, the cell membrane is a thin material that surrounds the cell as well as protecting the insides and contains pores that allow certain substances in and out. The body of the car is like the cell membrane of a cell because it is a thin sheet of metal that protects the interior of the car.
The nucleus in a car would be the engine. In a cell, the nucleus is not only the control centre of the cell but the producer of the DNA which are the instructions for controlling the cell. Whereas, in a car, then the engine is the control centre, and it actually beside the driver, is the part of the car that gives the instructions of the part to make the car function.
The cytoplasm in a car acts as the car's base. Usually, In a cell, the cytoplasm is the jelly-like substance that exactly makes up most of the cell and holds all the organelles in place. Even though the car's base is not jelly-like, it holds all the rest of the car's parts in place.
The Mitochondria in a cell are the organelles that they convert food (Glucose) into energy. As Mitochondria would be the battery in a car. Though a car does not need food to convert to any energy, it does need electricity.
Ribosomes are organelles that help in the production of proteins (Cell fuel). suppose In a car gas would be somewhat like ribosomes because it helps give the car the fuel it needs to run,
The Endoplasmic Reticulum has two parts, but the main function is the transportation system throughout the cell. Just like the cell, a car has parts just like the E.R., these parts are usually the cylinders; where the gas travels through right before it is converted into fuel.
Lysosomes in a cell act like the spark plugs in a car. Lysosomes in a cell take the food and break it down to be used as the energy. In a car spark plugs take out the gasoline mixture and create a mini-explosion, to make a spark to convert the mixture into required fuel.
Microtubules/ microfilaments are the tiny organelles that make up a cell's cytoskeleton. Usually, In a car, the tubes and wires are what make up the car's frame or cytoskeleton"
Note: A cell can be like a car. The nucleus of a cell would be like the driver of a car, they control the cell/car. The cell membrane is like the doors of a car. The ribosome produces protein for the cell as the alternator eventually produces energy for the battery to stay charged.
