Hint: Coal gas is combustible and a very popular heat energy producing gas as it is ignitable, so its constituent would also be combustible. Think what combustible elements are the part of coal gas by observing the options.

Complete step by step answer:
Coal gas is formed by extensive heating of coal in absence of air you have probably heard about coal which is a blackish solid substance, found in coal mines, they are the result of deposition of plants and living matter.
Coal gas mainly contains hydrogen $({{H}_{2}})$, methane $(C{{H}_{4}})$, and carbon monoxide $(CO)$ gases.
Coal gas can be manufactured by two processes which are carbonization and gasification respectively.
In carbonization, the organic stock is subjected to heat so that the volatile substances present in it get removed whereas, in gasification the organic matter is subjected to chemical reactions for forming required gas.
The composition of coal gas is not constant as it is made up of coal and coal exists in four types, so composition varies. Also it depends on the temperature condition.
During manufacturing of coal gas numbers of by-products are obtained which includes coke, coal, sulphur and ammonia.
Coal gas typically had a calorific value between 10 to 20 Megajoules per cubic meter.
So, option C is the required answer.

Note: Nowadays, coal gas is mainly formed by destructive distillation of coal. It is commonly known as town gas. Due to its combustibility it is widely used for lighting, cooking, heating and powering gas engines.
