Subject- Need and importance to combat increasing stress in students.
I would like to bring to your notice about the increasing stress level in the student’s life. Nowadays students are facing a lot of stress and depression in their life and they are not able to cope with their personal life as well. At their age learning should also include fun and joy whereas, students are overburdened with heavy books and bags.
Due to heavy homework students are forced not to step out of the house until and unless they have finished their work, but sadly, parents are also not understanding that education is important but overburden of anything is bad for everyone. And as a result, students have lost interest in their hobbies and outdoor activities or games. This also results in increasing stress in their life which ultimately making them weaker in the class because they do not have any kind of personality development or critical thinking.
Though competition begins from the cradle and ends in the grave but that does not mean that students should waste their precious life and precious moment of their life. The educationists and policymakers must bring out a pro-child policy in such a way that they can have some time to play or pursue their hobbies. Their practical work and other activities should be given due importance and there should be a continuous assessment evaluation of their performance.
So, I would be very grateful if you could promote awareness about this issue and implement some measures to get rid of this issue.
Yours faithfully
Harshita Das
