Hint: Cells are pre-existing forms of life. A whole life can be derived from a cell. A normal cell possesses so many different characters during its phases and the phase where a cell being under-developed is cell-cycle. The stages of cells are quite unique and interesting. The difference between a normal cell and a malignant cell are many. Let us discuss that.
Complete answer:
Cancer is a fatal disease but also curable if diagnosed at an early stage. Cancer is caused when the body’s cell starts to grow abnormally in size and in number. A cancer is very different from the normal cell as it loses the control to grow in a proportionate manner. The number of out-growths of cells are too much for the body to handle. Cancerous cells grow more rapidly than normal cells. Masses of cells are cumulatively called tumors.
The dangerous and fatal part about the malignant cells is they do not remain confined to a specific organ’s cells; they rapidly move towards other surrounding organ’s cells. That is how normal cells of the body also attain cancerous nature. They keep on growing and damaging that particular organ. Normal cells have a specific oval shaped structure. Whereas the malignant cells are bigger and round in shape.
The early symptoms of cancer are minimal. However, it varies from person to person. The symptoms include- weight loss, internal bleeding, abnormal bleeding as body loses the immunity power, lumps in body, cough.
There are two types of tumors in the condition of cancer. One is a benign and malignant tumor. Benign is a chronic kind of tumor where cancerous cells remain confined to a particular place. They do not spread out to the other organs. Tumors have the nature to spread out and even one single cell remaining in the body can again lead to outgrowth of cancerous cells. While malignant tumors spread rapidly and do not remain to specific organs. They go on damaging all the healthy cells till treatment is given.
Note:
As we discussed how cancer affects the body’s organs and healthy cells. Over hundred types of cancer can happen in the body. Some can be benign and malignant. Cancer can be caused by smoking where throat or lung cancer are prominent, by consuming excessive alcohol liver cancer can occur, and other types of cancer which are common. Breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men are two different types of cancer. Blood cancer often occurs in a person's body.
