- Steps to calculate the titration of weak acid and strong base are as follows,
a) In the beginning find the pH of the given solution.
b) Second step involves the determination of the equivalence point of the titration.
c) This step involves the calculation of pH of the titration using Henderson – Hasselbalch equation
d) This step involves the final calculation of molarity of the solution and then followed by the concentration of hydroxide ion and here is the end point.
Note: Note that the equivalence point and the end point are the different terms. Equivalence point occurs before the end point where the equivalence point is the point where the chemical reaction comes to an end and the end point is where the colour change occurs.
