How was Bombay acquired by the English East India Company?

At first, Bombay was picked up by the Portuguese from the Sultan of Gujarat Bahadur Shah by the Treaty of Bassein in 1534. The Portuguese called the islands by different names, in conclusion, picked Bombaim. During that time, they made Roman Catholic severe solicitations in the city and besides built up a couple of fortresses around it. In May 1661, as per the marriage relationship between Charles II of England and Catharine of Braganza, the Portuguese ruler's daughter, Bombay was given to the English as enrichment.
In 1668, as indicated by the Royal Charter, Bombay was given toward the East India Company for £10 consistently. The Dutch and the Mughal Empire's head of maritime tasks Yakut Khan attacked the islands a couple of times. In 1687, the association moved its headquarters to Bombay from Surat.
