Hint: It is a disease when our body does not have enough vitamin B1 . It is due to a poor diet. It can also occur when a person takes a lot of alcohol. It has a bad effect on heart health and circulatory system. Christiaan Eijkman who was a Dutch physician discovered this disease for the first time. He said that by feeding unpolished rice to chickens we can prevent this disease. This disease is also known as thiamine deficiency.
