Subject- Rash driving by the Delhi Transport Corporation bus drivers.
Sir/Ma’am,
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of the General Manager Delhi Transport Corporation towards the rash driving of the bus drivers from Noida to Delhi route.
Being a regular commuter on the same route, I have had a good experience with DTC buses in the past. However, since last three months, I have been continuously facing a lot of problems due to careless drivers. Regardless of commuters complaining several times, the drivers pay no attention and drive-in curving manner, however, it hurts the travelers who do not get sets to sit.
The drivers do not follow the traffic rules and they are not even bothered about the consequences. They do not fear the law. Some of the drivers use foul language while speaking to the passengers, which always leads to quarrels in the bus.
Therefore, I request to the Delhi Transport Corporation may be made aware of this serious situation, and take strict action against such drivers. Department should create awareness among the drivers and those who do not follow rules and regulations should deal with penalties and punishments. I look forward for favorable consideration and quick action on the same.
Thank you
Yours sincerely,
Prakash.
Note: For writing an effective letter there are certain points that have to be kept in mind while writing a formal letter. Appropriate tone, proofreading and the proper use of format and presentation.
Formal letters are different from the informal letter. Informal letters are non-official letters which we usually write to our friends, relatives, family. These letters are personal letters and are not used for official purposes.
