Hint: To solve this question, we should first try to understand what the terms in option actually mean. We should try to know logical and scientific definitions of each term. We should also take care of the process by which they are formed, where they are formed, time they take to form, the parent body (if any), etc.

Complete step by step answer:
Star: A star is an enormous sphere of hot and glowing gases. A process of nuclear fusion occurs in stars. This process of nuclear fusion produces a tremendous amount of energy, causing the star to heat up and shine. Stars are made mostly of hydrogen and helium. Many stars have small amounts of elements like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and iron, which were created by stars that existed before them. A star ejects much of its material back into space, after it runs out of fuel which forms a new star.

Black hole: A black hole is a region in space where the pulling force of gravity is so strong that light is not able to escape. They are formed when the center of a very massive star collapses in upon itself. This collapse can also cause a supernova, or an exploding star, that blasts part of the star into space.

SuperNova: A supernova formed from the explosion of a large and heavy star. It can be of two types. The first type of supernova happens in binary star systems where one of the two stars accumulates too much matter and then explodes, resulting in a supernova. The second type of supernova occurs at the end of a single star’s lifetime when the star runs out of nuclear fuel, the core becomes heavy and it cannot withstand its own gravitational force and hence result in a giant explosion of a supernova.

Hence, option (C) is the answer.

Note: The sun of our solar system can not form a supernova. This is because the sun’s mass is too less to form a supernova. In this question, all the options given are a result of the explosion of a star. They all are formed directly or indirectly by a type of explosion. But supernovae are the only phenomena which occurs by explosion of a body with mass eight times that of the sun.
