-First postulate says that a gas is composed of a large number of particles (monoatomic or polyatomic), that are present in constant random motion.
-Second postulate is that the volume of the molecules is negligible, as we know the distance between the gas molecules is larger.
-Third postulate says the intermolecular interactions are negligible.
-Fourth postulate states that the gas molecules collide with one another, and the collisions are perfectly elastic, so we can conclude the average kinetic energy of the molecules do not change.
