Hint: Joint structure arrangement where two bones articulate that is Meet each other. The framework of the body consists of separate skeletal elements which are joined or articulated with one another by different types of joints.

Complete answer:
There are three major type of joint:
1] FIBROUS JOINT
2] CARTILAGINOUS JOINT
3] SYNOVIAL JOINT

These are of 6 types:-
> ANGULAR JOINT
> BALL AND SOCKET JOINT
> HINGE JOINT
> PIVOT JOINT
> GLIDING JOINT
> SADDLE JOINT

1] FIBROUS JOINT-
These joints do not allow any movement because the bones are firmly fixed together by strong collagen fibres. These joints in the skull are called sutures. The attachment of the tooth with the socket is an example of this joint.

2] CARTILAGINOUS JOINTS-
These joints show slight or limited movement. The two bones are connected with the help of a disc or pad of white fibrous cartilage. They are present in sternum, ribs, pubic symphysis.

3] SYNOVIAL JOINT-
These are freely movable joints. The bones of these joints are covered by synovial membranes. It prevents the end of bones from being separated.

Note:
There are six types of synovial joint:-
> BALL AND SOCKET JOINT- This is the most free joints of all joints. It is present in the shoulder and hip joint.
> HINGE JOINT:- It is a joint that allows movement in only one plane. This is present in the elbow joint, knee joint.
> PIVOT JOINT:- This type of joint is involved in the rotation. It is the joint between radius and ulna just below the elbow.
> GLIDING JOINT:- Due to this bones can easily glide and slide over one another. It is present in the wrist.
> SADDLE JOINT:- It allows movement in many directions. It is present between carpals and metacarpals of the human thumb.
ANGULAR JOINT:- It allows movement only in two directions.
