Hint: Desert’s landscape is where very less precipitation occurs and, consequently, living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. There is a lack of vegetation so the surface of the ground is unprotected.

Complete answer:
Desert is an extremely large and dry area of land without vegetation. It is one of Earth’s main types of ecosystems. It supports the community of distinctive plants and animals which are adapted to the harsh environment. If we see about one-third of the land surface of the world is arid (i.e.being without moisture) or semi-arid. This includes most of the polar regions, where little amount of precipitation occurs, and which are sometimes also known as polar deserts or "cold deserts". Deserts can be classified on the basis of the amount of precipitation that falls, by the temperature that prevails, by the causes of desertification or by their geographical location.
A Sea Region or we may say SR is a 2 dimensional (2D) geometry of an area or line with common (physical or chemical) characteristics that is covered by an ocean, sea or similar salt water body. Physical conditions of the seas and the saline water bodies are divided into regions and subregions with the help of their common characteristics. In the sea, plants and animals are surrounded by salt water. Most of them use the air which is dissolved in water for their breathing. In the desert, we know that a very little amount of water is available. It is very hot in the daytime and very cold at night. The organisms breathe air from the surroundings.

Note: Sand grains of desert are finer and smoother so they are not be able to offer sufficient number of multidirectional chemical linkages. Desert sands contain an open structure, and there is little interlock between these sand grains. If we kept this sand dry, then these bonding bridges provide strength. But if by chance the sand becomes wet, the bridges soften and break .
