Hint: Sunspots area the area on the sun which appears darker than the normal surface of the sun. They appear as dark because the temperature of those areas are lesser than the temperature of the whole sun.
Step by step answer:
It is asked in the problem about the sunspot and the factors affecting the sunspots and we also need to tell about the factors affecting the sunspots.
The sun is the ultimate source of energy and life on earth is only possible due to the presence of the earth. Life on earth is only possible because the sun is at an exact distance from the earth pulse. The atmosphere of the earth also stops all the UV rays and most of the asteroids from entering the earth's atmosphere. The sun is working due to continuous fusion reactions inside the sun in which at high temperatures the hydrogen atoms combine and form helium and a large amount of energy is released.
Sun has dark spots known as sunspots; these are small areas which appear a little bit darker in colour than the sun. It’s a temporary phenomenon and it happens because of the concentration of the magnetic field flux and convection takes place. By studying the sunspots we also gain knowledge about the weather of the sun and the ionosphere.
Note: The temperature of the sun is very high but some areas have temperature less than the temperature of the sun due to the concentration of magnetic field flux. The life of these sunspots varies from few weeks to few months.
