Verbs:
A verb is a word or a group of words that describes an event, a state of being, or a situation.

Descriptive verbs:
A verb is a term that describes a specific action. Descriptive verbs, also known as "strong verbs," are one-word gestures that add color and vitality to the scene in the reader's mind.
