Complete answer:a) The Cochlea determines the sound's pitch. The cochlea is related to the hearing process. When it spirals, it appears like the shell of a snail. The organ of the corti (also called spiral organ) is the receptor organ for hearing and is located within the cochlea of a mammalian. In mammalian ears, the cochlear nerve, and the auditory cortex are the sensory receptors of hearing.
b) There are different parts of the human brain, such as the Cerebrum, Cerebellum, Pons, Medulla oblongata, etc. The cerebrum is the most developed component of the human brain, it forms 83percent of the total weight and it is divided into four lobes from both the hemisphere and which are
i.Frontal lobe: it is motor in action.
ii.Parietal lobe: sensory in function.

The SCN consists of two small clusters of several thousand nerve cells that are based on external signals, such as light and darkness, "tells time". Sleep, metabolism, and hormone production are regulated by the SCN.
