-Diet of energy in 1 gram of a basic human diet are -
-4 calories in a gram of carbohydrate or proteins
-9 calories in a gram of fat

1)The 4 calories per gram present in the carbohydrate which means calories present in 90 grams of carbohydrate = 4×90 = 360 calories.
2)The 4 calories per gram present in the proteins which means calories present in 10 grams of proteins = 4×10 = 40 calories.
3)The 9 calories per gram present in the fat which means calories present in 10 grams of fats = 9×10 = 90 calories.

So, in the present patient diet total calories present are = 360 + 40 + 90 = 490 calories.
-From the carbohydrates proteins and fats calories comes in the food. 4 calories present in 1 gram of carbohydrate, 4 calories also present in 1 gram of protein, and 9 calories present in 1 gram of fat which is twice the amount of the other two.
-Therefore calories do not depend upon one food with the same serving size. more calories are present in high-fat food as compared to food that is low in fat. Calories are higher in proteins or carbohydrates.
