Complete Step by Step Answer: The Bahujan Samaj Party was formed in 1984 and was founded by Kanshi Ram. He is also known as the Bahujan Nayak or Manyavar. He was a social and political reformer who worked for the upliftment of the Bahujans, the lower and backward sections of the society including untouchable groups at the lower strata of the society. Kanshi Ram also founded the Dalit Shoshit Samaj Sangharsh Samiti an organisation also known as DS-4 and the All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees’ Federation in 1971.

The BSP represents the lower strata of the Hindu social systems, that is, the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes along with other religious and social minorities.
