 $ 1. $ Aluminium is strong enough to bear the pressure of the winds while flying high in the sky. It is strong enough to bear the forces which it experienced while landing and take -off.
 $ 2. $ Aluminium is light in weight so that it can maintain the up-thrust of the airplane. It is light weighted material so that its excess use doesn’t make the airplane heavy.
 $ 3. $ Aluminium is predictable and inexpensive too as compared to other metals. The cost of the airplane is maintained by using inexpensive material.
 $ 4. $ Aluminium doesn’t have high tensile strength while other metals have. This is why aluminium is the best material to be used in the airline industry. Having high tensile strength is not good for airplanes because it can be dangerous for them.

Aluminium is not the only material which is used in making airplanes. Also the alloy of aluminium is used. Purely aluminium is not used here. Indeed there are other metals which have higher strength than aluminium but in cost comparison it is the best material to use.
