In females, the menstrual cycle or menarche begins at puberty.
Adolescence is the period of transformation; teens undergo several developmental changes which include changes in sex organs, secondary sexual characters, height, weight, and behavior (psychological). This period is accompanied by a desire for curiosity to try new things which in a negative sense may lead to wrong habits like drug abuse, alcoholism, smoking, etc.
Adolescents or teens are attracted to alcohol or drugs because of the temporary sense of calmness from problems without understanding the fact that in the long run these things deteriorate one’s body and make them dependent on drugs.
