Hint: The S.I. unit of temperature is kelvin. First we will define the Kelvin and Celsius unit. And then for conversion of degree Celsius into Kelvin we will use the following derived formula.
Formula used – Temperature in kelvin = (273+C)K
Complete step-by-step solution:
The temperature at which ice melts i.e. the temperature at which water can exist in both solid and liquid form is termed as ${0^0}$ c or 273k.
Also the temperature at which water converts into steam is termed as 100°c or 373k. So, we can see that 100 steps change in degree Celsius = 100steps of kelvin
Therefore
1step of $^0c$ = 1step of k
Thus
c steps of $^0c$ = c steps of k
${0^0}c + {C^0}c$ = 273k+Ck
i.e.
\[{C^0}c\]= (273+C)k.
Additional information – Two bodies are said to be in thermal equilibrium if no transfer of heat takes place when they are placed in contact.
Zeroth law of thermodynamics - if two bodies A and B are in thermal equilibrium and A and C are also in thermal equilibrium then B and C are also in thermal equilibrium. This law introduces the concept of temperature to measure the hotness or coldness of a body.
Note- Temperature is a physical property of matter which expresses hot and cold in quantitative terms. It is the manifestation of thermal energy, present in all matter, which is the source of heat occurrence, a flow of energy, when a body is in contact with a colder one. Thermometer is used to measure temperature.
