Hint: In this question we should understand the type of motion that drops carry out. Uniform motion indicated that speed is unchanged.

Complete step by step answer:
When the body is moving at a Uniform speed such that the speed of the body is constant along a straight line. So it has no acceleration. Thus net weight =ma=0
OR F=mg=0.
This type of motion is defined as the motion of an object in which the object travels in a straight line and its speed remains constant along that line as it covers equal distances in equal intervals of time, irrespective of the duration of the time.

Hence the correct option is D.

Additional information:The Newton Second Law of Motion describes what happens if an external force acts on the body. It says that, “when the force acting on an object is equal to the mass of the object and its acceleration."
This can be written in mathematically such as F = ma,
Where F is force acting on it, m is mass of an object, and a is acceleration of the object.

Note:Net force is the vector sum of forces acting on a particle or body. The net force is a total force which is responsible for stopping the body from moving and the net force which affects the original force. These are all actual forces can be explained by the Newton's second law of motion
