Hint:
Here we have to find the collection in terms of rupees for that we have to first find the number of containers made that day using the total number of capsules and number of capsules in a container. After finding the number of containers we have to multiply it with the cost of a container to find the collection in terms of rupees.
Complete step by step answer:
Here, it is given that the total number of capsules a company manufactures in one day is \[24,800\] and also given that each small container contains \[800\] capsules.
We have to find the total number of small containers, to find the total number of containers we divide the total number of capsules by the number of capsules in the container.
Total number of small container produced in a single day \[ = \dfrac{{24800}}{{800}}\]
Hence the number containers produced a day is $31$ containers
Again, it is given that each small container cost \[ = Rs.{\rm{ }}400\]
The cost of $31$ small containers is found by multiplying $31$ with the cost of a small container.
The cost of $31$ containers \[ = Rs.{\rm{ }}400 \times 31\]\[ = Rs.{\rm{ 12,400}}\]
Hence, the total collection in one day by the company in term of rupees will be \[Rs.{\rm{ 12,400}}\]
$\therefore$ The total collection in one day by the company in terms of rupees will be \[Rs.{\rm{ 12,400}}\]
Note:
While finding the number of containers we should divide the number of capsules manufactured by the number of capsules in a single container. If that is not done we cannot find the total number of containers which is helpful in finding the required answer.
