NEET-UG 2022 Correction Window Now Open For Applicants

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for NEET-UG 2022 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) registration today. The candidates can visit the official website (neet.nta.nic.in) to avail the correction facility in NEET Application. The window will remain open till May 27, 2022, and post that, no changes will be entertained by the NTA.

NEET-UG 2022 Correction Window Open: Steps to Edit

Earlier, authorities decided not to open the correction window. However, after several requests from applicants, NTA decided to open the correction window for three days.

Details You Can Edit In NEET-UG 2022 Application

For Aadhar Verified Applicants: An applicant can edit either Father’s or Mother’s name. If a candidate is changing either of the details, then changes in Photograph and signature are not allowed and vice versa. The applicant can also change either category or reupload the Category certificate; changing both fields are not allowed. In addition, an applicant can also change either sub-category (PwD) or reupload the Sub-Category certificate; changing both fields is not allowed.
For Aadhar Not Verified Applicants: An applicant can change - Own/Father/Mother name. If an applicant changes any of these details, then changes in Photograph and Signature are not allowed and vice-versa. The applicant can also change either category or reupload the Category certificate; changes in both fields are not allowed. A candidate can also change either sub-category (PwD) or reupload the Sub-Category certificate; changes in both fields are not allowed. Date of Birth and Gender fields can also be updated.

Applicants must note that it is a one-time facility to edit the details or reupload the required documents. The correction should be made very carefully as further changes might not be allowed by the NTA.
