Important Documents Required For NEET 2023 Registration

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2023) registration date will shortly be made public by the National Testing Agency (NTA). On neet.nta.nic.in and nta.nic.in 2023, medical aspirants who want to apply for MBBS admission can view the NEET 2023 notification, application form, and schedule.


The NEET UG 2023 exam will be held on May 7 in accordance with the NTA's publication of the academic calendar for national-level admission exams. The NTA has not yet made the NEET 2023 notification available. However, in order to properly submit the NEET 2023 application form, aspirants must keep the necessary documents on hand.

Along with other crucial documents, they must upload their photo, signature, left and right thumb imprints, and other information in the format required. Candidates should be aware that any formatting errors when uploading the NEET 2023 documents will result in the application being rejected.


List of Documents Required for NEET 2023 Application Process

Candidates are required to keep the following documents handy before the NEET 2023 application process starts. 

  • Passport and postcard-size photo

  • Thumb Impression - Left hand

  • Signature

  • Self-declaration certificate (For J&K Aspirants)

  • Category certificate

  • PwBD certificate

  • Class 10 certificate

  • Citizenship certificate


NEET 2023 Documents Specification

Passport Photo - The photo should be latest and taken on a white background. The face should be 80% of the photo with ears clearly visible. The photo should be in JPG format and between 10 and 200 kb in size. The photo should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI. 


Postcard Photo - The photo should not be older than September 1, 2020. It is advised that the photo should be with the name and date. Avoid Caps and goggles with 80% face coverage and ears clearly visible. The photo background should be white. The photo should be 4" x 6" and between 10 and 200 kb. It should be 4.25 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI


Signature - The sign should be done with a black pen on a white background. Avoid doing the signature in capital letters. The signature should be provided in JPG format, and the size should be between 4 and 30 kb. The signature should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI.


Left-hand Thumb Impression - If the left-hand thumb impression isn't accessible for some reason, the right-hand thumb impression may be utilised instead. Use blue ink on white paper. The signature should be between 10 and 200 kb. It should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI. 


Class 10 Certificate - The scanned marksheet should be used to upload, and it should be between 50 and 300 kb. It should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches with 72 DPI. 


Category, PwBD & Citizenship Certificate - All the certificates should be scanned and between 50 and 300 kb. All the certificates should be in PDF.
