Bandar Bant is a story narrated in the form of a drama or an act. This story is about the importance of thinking wise and teaches us to save ourselves from being cheated.

The play starts with two cats having a conversation with each other. One is a white cat, and the other is a black cat. Initially, there is a friendly tone in the conversation between these two cats. Both talk about being hungry and about trying to find some food.

Meanwhile, the white cat gets the smell of roti and informs the black cat. The white cat finds it on a nearby table. The white cat desperately wants to jump and grab it. But the fear of getting caught holds him back. The black understands this situation and decides to grab the roti. The black cat gets the roti and walks away with the same. The white cat stops the black cat and says that the roti belongs to him. It leads to an argument between the two cats.

In this situation, a monkey enters the play and promises to the cats to help them to solve the issue. The monkey takes them to court, and after hearing the problems, the monkey seems to decide to divide the roti into two and give each part to both the cats. The monkey uses a manual weighing machine for this. He tells the cats that one part of the roti was bigger than the other, and he had to eat the extra part. He weighs again and does the same thing over and over again.

Finally, the cats realised that the monkey was trying to fool them, and it was cleverly eating the roti. Upon asking for the roti, the monkey says he does not want the cats to have further problems with the roti and, to completely solve the issues, had to eat the rest of the roti too.
