Chapter 5 Hindi Class 2 is an amazing story that talks about the friendship between a fox and a tortoise. The tortoise lived in a pond nearby and the fox lived in the den nearby. They were good mates and used to gossip about various things together. Once, while they were gossiping on the bank of the pond, the leopard suddenly attacked them. The fox, being quick, immediately jumped into his den and the leopard was unable to catch him. The tortoise, being slow, was unable to escape and hid himself in the shell there itself. The leopard caught hold of the tortoise and by its sharp nails and teeth. The tortoise was stuck within the strong jaws of the leopard and was unable to break free.

The fox was now worried about his friend knowing that it would not be able to escape. Instantly, fox had an idea and gradually approached the leopard from his den. He told the leopard that to break the shell of the tortoise, he will have to throw it into the water after which he could enjoy eating the tortoise.
