2. National Standard Examination for Physics (NSEP)

The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) administers the NCEP exam in India on a national basis through a voluntary test. 3. National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC)

The NSEC exam is jointly conducted by the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Every year in November, this exam takes place at different certified examination centers. The National Science Education Center promotes Chemistry as an important subject for the NSE exam and strives to foster students’ interest in it.


4. International Olympiad in Astrophysics and Astronomy (IOAA)

The main agenda of the International Olympiad in Astrophysics and Astronomy (IOAA) exam is to inculcate students’ interest in Astronomy and related STEM fields, especially through general education. 5. International Biology Olympiad (IBO)

6. Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (InChO)

Homi Bhabha Center conducts this science olympiad in association with the Indian Association of Chemistry Teachers every year. The Indian national Chemistry Olympiad (InChO) provides a platform for high-school students to display their Chemistry skills.


7. Indian National Physics Olympiad (InPhO)

The Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO) is organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). Every year in June & July. Here, all the winning students can show their Physics skills on a global level.


8. Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO)

The national-level science olympiad exam is held for students in Classes 11 and 12 while the second phase of the Biology Olympiad program of the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE).


The exam takes place in more than 15 centers in India, demonstrating students’ keen interest in the INBO exam.
