Hint We know that a magnetic field is defined as a vector field that describes the magnetic influence on the movement of the electric charges, or we can say electric currents, and also magnetized materials. Therefore, a charge that is moving in a magnetic field experiences a force perpendicular to its very own velocity and to the magnetic field. Based on this concept we have to solve this question.
Complete step by step answer
There are various properties of the magnetic field lines. However, among the so many properties we have to mention any two properties of the magnetic field lines. So, here are the properties mentioned below:
1. Every magnetic line is a closed and continuous curve that originates from the north pole and then terminates at the south pole. The magnetic lines of force are always affected by the compass needle.
2. The magnetic field lines never intersect each other. But the magnetic field lines are always found to be crowded near the poles and the strength of the magnetic field is very strong at the poles.
Hence, we can conclude that we have already mentioned the two properties of the magnetic lines of force.
Note We should know that in a uniform electric field, the field lines are always straight, parallel and uniformly spaced. The electric field lines can never form closed loops, as lines can never start as well as end on the same charge.
These field lines always flow from the higher potential to the lower potential. While we consider the magnet the magnetic lines of force start from the North Pole and end on the South Pole outside the magnet. The tangent that is drawn on any point on the magnetic field lines give us the direction of the magnetic field at that point.
