It carries two cameras, named as: LISS-I and LISS-II with resolutions of 73 meters and 36.25 meters respectively. These cameras also had a swath width of about 140 km during each pass over the country.
IRS-1A had a launch Mass of 975 kg, Power-600 W, it was used for Earth Observation.
CARTOSAT-2B
Now, CARTOSAT - 2B was the seventeenth satellite in the Indian Remote Sensing Satellite series (IRS). It carries a panchromatic camera (PAN) similar to those of its predecessors, known as: CARTOSAT-2 and 2A.
It is also capable of imaging a swath of 9.6 km with a resolution of better than 1 meter. The scene specific spot imagery sent by CARTOSAT-2B's PAN is useful in cartography and a host of other applications. CARTOSAT-2B is highly agile and steerable up to ± 26 degree along as well as across track to obtain stereoscopic imagery and achieve a four to five day revisit capability.

Also, the IRS-P3 satellite contained an X-ray astronomy payload, a C-band transponder and two remote sensing payloads. As we know this satellite was launched and maintained by Indian Space Research Organization.
