Complete answer:First, we will understand the term ‘Detergents’. Detergents or ‘Synthetic Detergents’ are some cleansing agents that possess all the properties of soaps, but actually, they do not contain any soap and these are known as synthetic detergents. Synthetic detergents are also known as ‘Soapless soap’.
Now we will understand some basic characteristics of detergents. Some of the characteristics are:
1.One of the important characteristics is chemical-free. Many chemicals can destroy our garments and utensils.
2.The detergents must be biodegradable. It means they should not be harmful to the environment.
