1. Ciliary muscles- These are a pair of muscles and their primary role is to relax or tighten the fibres that hold the lens to focus and enable the eyes to see clearly.
2. Iris- The role of the iris is to regulate the amount of light entering our eyes. When we are outside on a bright sunny day then iris makes the size of eye pupil small to let a little light enter in our eyes and when we are in a dark room or during the night it makes the size of the pupil big to allow maximum light enter in our eye.
3. Lens- it is a biconvex lens which is used to focus the image on the retina
4. Cornea- The front portion of the eye is covered by the transparent part known as the cornea. It consists of pupils and iris.
5. Retina- the retina is located near the optic nerve and its role is to receive the light that the lens has focused.
6. Optic Nerve- it is located at the back and its role is to carry impulses and signals to the brain to process the information.
