It is said that as God could not be everywhere, he created parents. This strikes me as true especially when I think of my parents. My parents are extremely supportive of my decisions and choices. They always help me when I am facing any difficulty. They are good-natured and are always ready to talk to people with a beaming smile on their face. If any of their friends are facing some difficulty, my parents are always ready to help them out.
My father is an accountant. He likes to read newspapers, especially the pages dedicated to sports. He also likes to travel to new places and to learn new things. Sometimes, he tells me interesting bits of information that he comes across. My father also has a lot of friends. Sometimes, he takes me out with them, and the stories that they narrate always make me laugh.
My mother works as an editor. This makes her good with words and with people. She is extremely selfless and always puts the comfort of her family before hers. She helps my sister and me in our studies. She is also an art enthusiast. On the weekends, we go to museums and to art galleries and admire the different art installations there.
I am thankful to God for giving me such lovely parents as they make my life better with their presence.
