Hint: Large bodied mammals have relatively small brains compared to their bodies whereas small mammals have larger brain to body ratios. The central organ of the human nervous system is the human brain, and with the spinal cord makes up the central nervous system. The brain consists of the cerebellum, brainstem and cerebrum.

Complete answer:
Accounting for 85 percent of the brain’s weight, the cerebrum is its largest part. Cerebral cortex is the distinctive and deeply wrinkled outer surface. It's the cerebrum that makes the human brain and hence, humans are so formidable. Animals such as whales, dolphins and elephants actually have larger brains, but we have the most developed cerebrum. Inside our skulls, it is packed with deep folds that maximize the total surface area of the cortex.
The cerebrum has two hemispheres or halves. These halves are further divided into four lobes or regions. The frontal lobes, located behind the forehead, are involved with thought, learning, speech, movement and emotion. Behind the frontal lobes are the parietal lobes, they process sensory information such as pain, temperature and touch. Optical lobes are at the rear of the brain and they deal with vision. Lastly, near the temples we have temporal lobes, which are involved with memory and hearing.

Hence, the correct answer is option (C).

Note: The cerebellum is the second-largest part of the brain. It sits beneath the back of the cerebrum. It plays an important role in coordinating posture, movement and balance. The third-largest part of the brain is the diencephalon, which is located in the core of the brain.
