Hint: Vascular tissues implies tubular structures used to transport fluids (blood and lymph), oxygen, nutrients to different body tissues and removes wastes. Non-vascular or avascular tissues do not have tubular networks, for e.g. cartilage.

Complete answer: In a human body, vascular tissues include blood vessels such as veins, arteries and capillaries. An example is muscle tissue that is vascular or vascularised. Tissues with a lot of blood vessels are present in the lungs and are highly vascularised. The vascular system is also called the circulatory system. They carry blood and lymph throughout the body. In the human body, few structures do not have blood vessels, such as the lens of eyes. Cartilage is found near the joints, in the nose, in ears, etc. are some of the examples of avascular tissues.
a) Nervous tissue: These are specialized tissues found in the central nervous system. its main function is to receive stimuli and send signals to the brain and spinal cord.
b) Connective tissue: It supports all the tissues of the body. It includes the nervous system. These cells include fibroblasts, adipocytes, mast cells and leukocytes.
c) Muscular tissue: it is a soft tissue that contains muscles. Its function is to allow movement of the body. This tissue is highly cellular and well developed and is supplied with blood vessels.
d) Epithelial tissue: This tissue covers the external surface of the body which lines the internal cavities, organs, glands and ducts. Their function includes protection, secretion, absorption, excretion, diffusion and filtration. Therefore, nervous tissues, connective tissues and muscular tissues are vascular tissues.
Hence, the correct answer is option C.

Note: Muscle tissues are of three types; smooth muscle, skeletal muscle and cardiac muscles. Smooth muscles make the lining of the intestine and oesophagus, skeletal muscles help in locomotion, while cardiac muscles make up the heart.
