The district produces 300,000 tonnes annually and is the leading producer of mango in the Tamil Nadu Krishnagiri District. Almost 20% of the mango varieties produced in this district, such as 'Totapuri' and 'Alphonso', are processed into pulp. Tons of mangoes are processed into juice each year in this district, in addition to mango pulp production.
