Complete answer: The United Nations Group of 77 (G77) is a coalition of 134 developing countries designed to cultivate the common economic interests of its members and to establish an enhanced joint negotiating capacity within the United Nations. There were 77 founding members of the organisation based in Geneva, but it has since grown to 134 member countries according to the organisation. In the "Joint Declaration of the Seventy-Seven Countries" issued at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), 77 non-aligned nations formed the party on 15 June 1964. Its creation was the result of developed countries' mutual understanding of sharing their most common problems and of recognising the need for joint action in compliance with the objectives and values of the Nations. In 1967, the first major meeting was conducted under the leadership of Raul Prebisch, in Algiers. In that meeting, the Charter of Algiers was adopted and the foundation for permanent institutional frameworks was launched. Rome (FAO), Geneva (UN), Vienna (UNIDO), Nairobi (UNEP), Paris (UNESCO), and the Group of 24 in Washington, D.C. are chapters of the Group of 77. China does not consider itself to be a member of the group. However, the country is helping and contributing financially to the G77. As of2020, Guyana occupies the presidency.

Note: -In 1971, a chapter of the G-77 named Group 24 (G-24) was formed.
-G-24 has been established to coordinate the positions of developing nations on development finance issues and international monetary and to make sure that their interests are properly reflected in international monetary talks.
-All member of the G-24 is also a member of the G77, except for Mexico. The membership in the G-24 is exclusively limited to 24 nations.
