Ethology is the study of the behaviour of living organisms especially those organisms that belong to the Animal kingdom. It is a type of scientific study which deals with behavioural changes with the change of environment which comes under evolutionary adaptive traits.
Ethology was first developed in Europe and after that, it gets circulated to the UK and North America. It has strong evidence in both states. In the UK ethology was supported by William Thorpe, Robert Hinde and Patrick Bateson with the help of the University of Cambridge. In 1972, human ethology was discovered for the study of changing human behaviour. It was generally concerned with war, pacemaking, human conflict, resolution, reconciliation, behaviour etc. In the sociology book of E.O Wilson, it was considered that the behaviour of an animal has a relationship with the social aspects and it becomes stronger and stronger with the changing environmental condition. Later it also considers that animals also have a belief system, especially in humans therefore their behaviour not only depends upon the changing environment but it also depends on their belief system.

Charles Darwin has the main role to explain the behavioural changes during his discovery for evolution, whereas the discipline of ethology was commenced in 1930. It was Nikolas Tinbergen, Konrad Lorentz and Karl Von Frisch who got the credit for the commencement of ethology.
